I originally became familiar with Pete’s work a few years back on the Crooked Tongues forum on the ‘Show us your work’ thread. I was drawn to Pete’s style as it’s a real nice balance of vintage styles mixed with a more modern vibe with a clever puss of wordplay and typography.
When Addict was looking at the SS12 season, we had a vibe in our head for a certain part of the line which called for a certain style and feeling. I immediately thought of Pete and we chatted and bounced a few ideas between Chris, Pete and myself. After a bit of design tennis and detail dialing I think Pete smashed it with some designs that hit the nail on the head, turned out proper nice. A real good dude, great to work with, patience and passion.
